BIO Milada Kolberg

Born in Prague, Czech Republic, I relocated to Germany in 1992 to pursue American and German studies in Frankfurt. I turned my passion for moving pictures into a profession and soon started to work within the film industry. I took up a tempting offer to join the acquisitions team at Senator Film in Berlin in 2000. Since then acquisitions, sales and co-productions became my professional determination. I held different positions at Senator Entertainment AG, Atlas Film & Medien GmbH and Twentieth Century Fox in the course of my career. I launched MK Film Consulting in 2015 and have worked with exciting companies and on fascinating projects since. I have joined X Verleih AG in 2019 as Head of Acquisitions.

Qualifications:

20 years of experience in the international film business (project scouting, co-productions, license trade)

Expert in sales & acquisition deals and TV sales strategies

Adept and target-oriented negotiator

World-wide contact network within the film industry

Supporter of young talent in the film industry, lecturer at Atelier Ludwigsburg - Paris, Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf, dffb

Full trilingual working competence: German, English and Czech. Other languages: Spanish, Russian, French.

BIO Thomas Kolberg

I am a devoted Frankfurter and an inquisitive Berliner! A studied physicist and a trained IT expert, film love was not my very first, but became the more profound passion. My storytelling sensibility, rational eye and my computer expertise perfectly complement MK Film Consulting´s portfolio.
